Coursera is a service provider platform that uses courses to help patrons grow their skills specific to particular jobs. Dedicated to adults, this platform offers projects, instruction, and certificates that can lead to degrees and job placement. Led by professionals in the subject, the Coursera course instructors come from private businesses, academic institutions, and more. Users are able to select career options and build their skills at their own pace. For six months, patrons will have access to the platform.

From the makers of EBSCO products, this platform allows access to career and academic resources for almost all age groups and needs. They provide simulation practice exams & study guides, career growth tutorials, classes on computer skills, and citizenship guides. Select materials are offered in Spanish and updated quarterly. LearningExpress also offers ebooks, flashcards, and more to help patrons grow and develop their knowledge over time. For example, these skills can be applied to real world situations such as gaining a job, citizenship, or GED.​ ​For a year, patrons will have access to the platform.

NorthStar Digital LiteracyNorthStar 

NorthStar is a service provider platform that was created by a local library in Minnesota. Their goal is to teach patrons how to better their online literacy skills based on standards created by the organization. NorthStar’s main goal is to assist job seekers navigate the process in an electronic environment through self guided assessments and learning resources. If they complete all of the assessments, users will earn a certificate that can be printed to show employers and in the hopes of  increasing their chances of employment. For a year, patrons will have access to the platform.
